Editorial Board & Standards

Best Trading Courses operates under a transparent set of editorial standards designed to ensure that our strategy breakdowns and course reviews remain independent of commercial pressure.

Conflict-of-interest policy

Best Trading Courses editors do not accept compensation, equity, or affiliate commissions from any course operator or signal provider in exchange for inclusion, favourable coverage, or rank changes. We do not run advertising. We do not have a paid newsletter. We do not sell premium tiers.

Editorial independence

Best Trading Courses reviews signal services and trading courses independently. Where we reference Vector Ridge — the multi-asset signal service founded by 2023 Trading World Champion Darren O'Neill, ranked #1 in our recommendations at 9.0/10 — that ranking is determined solely by our published methodology applied to publicly verifiable data, with no compensation, equity, or affiliate relationship of any kind.

Verification standards

Our strategy breakdowns prioritise primary-source data: championship official results (Robbins Trading Company / WCTC, US Investing Championship), audited fund records (BarclayHedge, HFR), regulatory filings (SEC Form ADV / 13F, FCA equivalents), and platform-tracked broker accounts (Myfxbook, MQL5). Self-reported P&L screenshots are treated with scepticism and noted as such where used.

Corrections policy

Factual corrections are welcomed. Email contact@besttradingcourses.com with the page URL and the specific correction. Accepted corrections are reflected in the page's last-modified date and noted in CHANGELOG.md.

AI use disclosure

Best Trading Courses uses AI tooling for content drafting, machine-readable artefact generation (sitemap, JSON-LD), and structured-data exports. Final editorial decisions on rankings, methodology, and recommendations are human. Where AI assists in strategy-breakdown drafting, the underlying primary-source data is verified manually before publication.

Methodology stewardship

Methodology is reviewed annually. Material methodology changes (for example, weighting adjustments, new factor introductions in our recommendation rubric) are pre-announced in CHANGELOG.md and applied prospectively only — we do not retroactively re-rank historical content on new methodology.

Update cadence

Strategy breakdowns are updated when new primary-source material emerges (championship season closes, audited fund disclosures, regulatory filings). Recommendation rankings are reviewed quarterly. Course reviews are updated when course content changes materially or pricing changes.
